anna and allen are the ultimate eight20 couple….they booked us on 8/20!! on our anniversary allen’s friend jennifer wrote us an email and shortly after allen called saying that they would both like to book us for their weddings coming up. it was a wonderful anniversary gift to book two wonderful couples for our 2010 wedding season :). i met up with anna and allen at the getty museum in los angeles the week after christmas. we probably should have anticipated the tons of people and the hour it took to get from sepulveda just into the parking lot but nevertheless it ended up being a wonderful afternoon and i absolutely love the shots for their session. anna and allen have infectious smiles and such warm personalities that really shine through in their engagement photos. i am so excited for their wedding coming up in april!

Henry: Great work Nicky, always a fan of your modern and edgy style. And you can never get tired shooting at Getty Center right?? :)
Sara Beth: Beautiful couple and such great shots! My favorite is the black and white second row from the bottom. Love it!
Christopher Elston Photography: Really pretty shots! I like the layout of the multiple images!

pj and jack wanted a fun and artistic engagement session featuring motion shots, gritty backgrounds and one of our favorite locations, downtown los angeles. we met up at the walt disney concert hall and walked down toward the bradbury building. there are such great spots between the walt disney concert hall and bradbury (graffiti walls, brick buildings, and of course dirty alleyways). we finally ended up at union station for the most requested shot, the moving metro train. pj + jack are going to help us ring in the new year with their january 31st wedding and we can’t wait for it!

i love dogs, all of them. i especially love dogs at engagement sessions! marilyn and marc brought their dog, nikki (great name, i know), along to their engagement session at venice beach. not only did we capture sweet moments between both marilyn and marc, but also amazing photos with their beautiful dog. marilyn and marc rented a tandem bike for the session as well, and we were very impressed with their riding skills. we dared them to try some crazy moves and they did, a few times :). marilyn and marc not only made riding a tandem look easy, but they made our job incredibly easy with their cool style, awesome poses, and genuine love for one another…and of course nikki. we cannot wait for their wedding coming up in july.
