candace and skyler wanted to do their engagement session at a location that had some meaning to them, which i love. candace suggested some awesome locations, i would have had us go to all of them if we had the time! we finally decided on cal state channel islands, where skyler attended college. the campus had beautiful trees, awesome colored walls and a fountain right in the middle of the library that i knew i wanted to utilize, whether we got kicked out or not! luckily, we saved that for last :). candace and skyler are amazing together, they work off each other, whether it be laughing, cuddling, being model fierce and the end result as you can see is fantastic! we cannot wait for their wedding in july at one of our favorite locations, spanish hills country club

we met natalie and jeremiah at the santa monica pier. we started the session early enough to try avoid crowds, but even though it’s supposed to be winter it got hot and the crowds came :). we like to start our sessions in the most random places first. so instead of walking on the pier, we went around to the back and of course we found some awesome wire fences, staircases, the freeway overpass! natalie and jeremiah worked the session like pros! when we asked them for fierce, we got it, funny, we got that too! perfect models :). we cannot wait for their wedding coming up in january!

amanda and brian had their first date at angel’s stadium, so it was the perfect location for their engagement session. we had so much fun down on the field, in the locker rooms, in vip boxes, the press conference room, i think we for sure got to go places no one else gets to go! after angel’s stadium we headed to downtown disney, which lasted for about 5 minutes. i guess you need to be escorted on disney grounds when taking photos, who knew? well that did not stop us. brian suggested a new shopping plaza/promenade that had opened recently in anaheim and off we went. our misfortunate at disneyland led us to a gold-mine! this place was amazing! every wall was painted with different colors and murals. photographers paradise :). we had a blast and cannot wait to shoot their wedding coming up in february at the mission inn!!
i also have to give a shout out to araxi for being wonderful and joining me all day for this session :).
