evelyn and joe are a wonderful, sweet couple. we met up with them in laguna beach for their engagement session and it was packed! there were people everywhere. we managed to find some back alleys and corners which worked perfectly. evelyn and joe were great sports and even though i am sure they had no idea what we were up to most of the time, they went along with it! we cannot wait for their wedding coming up in october at tivoli too!

kimberly and jay are amazing, and sweet, and love radiates out of them. the first time we met them was at their “day-after” session, which actually took place on their wedding day, before the wedding! we wanted to beat the vegas heat so we hit up our hot spots bright and early. it was as if we were seeing old friends again and the start to the day, while still hot as anything was a blast. we began at the famous neon boneyard followed by a trip to the “welcome to vegas” sign and then the roof of the paris hotel parking lot which allowed us to get some great views of the ever growing skyline of las vegas in the background. this session was followed by their amazing wedding…which will be up soon, so stayed tuned for part two :).

adriana: Ha! I love their signs! Amazing work, as usual. I love all of the Vegas backdrops you chose.
Kimberly & Jay: Omigosh! The pictures are awesome -- we love every one of them! We had such a great time hanging out with you guys before the wedding, and it definitely shows in the photos. :) Eight20 *does* rock our socks off!

hera and colin had an incredible armenian ceremony surrounded by stunning white marble and gold accents. the vivid wedding included so many traditional aspects, where each of the acts performed during the service has a special meaning and significance. the ending of the ceremony includes the bride and groom being crowned, which represent glory and honor and they are now the king and queen of their own little kingdom! once we left the church we made a stop along the way for some fun portraits, and all got totally soaked by the fountain. their reception was so much fun, what a party. everyone joined in and danced the night away. colin gave one of the most touching speeches we have ever heard. everyone was in tears, including me! hera and colin had adorable mini cupcakes, a candy buffet and of course the most amazing middle eastern food…mmmm! we can’t wait to celebrate with them again at hera’s sister helen’s wedding coming up in just a few days :).

ceremony: st. garabed armenian apostolic church
reception: brandview collection
cupcakes: leda’s bake shop
videographer: cinematic wedding day
