jennifer and ryan together = one very cool couple. they are getting married in florida, so even though we won’t be able to shoot their wedding, we were so honored that we got to do their engagement pictures! we met up at the santa monica pier and as you can see these guys rocked this session! we had such a great time, and we wish them the best wedding ever!

how i came to know shaina will remain a secret, but i am so glad that we did meet in this very special way. when shaina told me ben proposed on their trip to hawaii, i was so excited and hoped they would pick me to be their wedding photographer :). well they did and their wedding was amazing. shaina and ben were married at the sephardic temple on wilshire and what a party, just look at the photos of the bride/groom and bridesmaids jumping rope (okay, napkins tied together)! my poor hubby had the flu so i had michael andrews join me, and he did a great job. mazel tov you two!

i know what you are thinking…this lovely lady looks awfully familiar :) no, it’s not hera with another man, it is her beautiful sister helen! i met up with helen and jak at the manhattan beach pier on tuesday, which was so nice because there were hardly any people out to get in our way! the sun was being a little bit of a pest, but we walked around, found some awesome garages and walls and made our back to the beach where the sun actually worked in our favor. helen has a smile that could brighten anyone’s day and i had a wonderful afternoon with the both of them. we cannot wait for their wedding coming up in august!
