amanda and shaun are getting married on one of the most popular dates of ‘08, 6-7-08 to be exact. we had about 10 inquiries for this super popular date, and we could not be happier that amanda and shaun got it. we met up at the historic bradbury building downtown, and then ventured around the streets. as you can see, amanda and shaun are super fun, easy to work with and oh so photogenic! their jumping skills were out of control and just had to be featured in a composite, actually they are getting two composites because we could not narrow all these awesome images down! can’t wait to see you guys again in june :).

as i entered lisa’s hotel room, she poked her head out of the bathroom and a beautiful, glowing bride appeared with a smile from ear to ear. the day had arrived; she was about to marry the man of her dreams. perfectly placed across the couch was lisa’s dress with the most beautiful train i had ever seen. lisa, her mom, sister, and best friend were hands on to get that dress over lisa’s head without messing up a single strand of hair. eric met alex over at his place; he was all smiles getting ready to marry the woman he always wished for.

lisa and alex are the type of couple you want to be friends with. when you spend time with the two of them, you just feel love. when we met with lisa and alex back in the day at their engagement session, we knew their wedding at the calamigos equestrian center would be amazing. they were exactly the type of clients we wanted to work with. just as we presumed, their wedding was breathtaking and we are so grateful that we could be a part of it.

we met kendall and jacob at the botanical gardens in thousand oaks (now i have lived in this area my whole life, and i had no idea this place even existed)! the botanical gardens ended up being the perfect setting, beautiful trees, grassy fields and the sun shining through which gave us some amazing light. we are not exactly what you would call nature people but will go anywhere our clients ask us. hiking with camera gear however can be quite a task but we made it to the top. overlooking the entire city was beautiful, totally worth the trek and i am really excited about the photos we ended up with. we cannot wait for kendall and jacob’s wedding coming up in july at the spanish hills country club :).
